~An online safety simulator~
This project for a natural language processing class trains a model using the Transformers library from HuggingFace to detect the sentiment of text from 13 options: happiness, sadness, neutral, anger, love, fear, disgust, confusion, surprise, shame, guilt, sarcasm, and desire. The model is then hosted on a HuggingFace Space and accessed through a project built in Ren’Py, a visual novel game engine. User input is evaluated and used for determining how likely a person is to comply with a scammer in an online safety game.
*This is still in development, and as such lacks a complex plot at the moment; the primary focus is on the Transformer model used to detect emotions.
